One of the most common claims from critical parties is that of cannabis users apparently putting a severe strain on healthcare systems and service providers. Which is of course pure BS, and has been proven as such once again by another 2016 study. Researchers at the University of Wisconsin looked into the use of healthcare services by cannabis users compared to those who abstain. It became pretty clear when the data was collected that cannabis use or otherwise had no bearing at all on the use of medical services. The findings were added to the European Journal of Internal Medicine in October.
