You know how it’s supposed to be unlucky to walk under ladder? Well, technically this represents nothing less than common sense advice, given the fact that avoiding anything that could potentially fall on you or result in something being dropped on your head is probably a good idea. And most of us do exactly that, but this doesn’t stop somewhere in the region of 350 people losing their lives every year as a direct result of some kind of incident involving a ladder. Once again, if it really is protecting public health and safety that the government is interested in, why aren’t ladders controlled with the same kind of severity as cannabis.
