Of course, it’s not as if every seasoned smoker in the world has the option to even consider getting into outdoor growing themselves, or even has access to outdoor weed on a regular basis. Which in turn means that indoor growing more often than not takes precedence as the only realistic option available. Not only this, but it was around the time when cannabis was still extremely illegal across most of the western world that growers began to bring it indoors and into scientific laboratories, in order to experiment with a new generation of hybrids. As such, it’s entirely unfair to in any way take anything away from indoor growing efforts, as they’ve played a huge role in producing some of the world’s most outstanding cannabis strains we all know and love today.
The simple fact of the matter is that outstanding cannabis can be grown in almost any environment whatsoever, just as long as those doing so are willing to go the extra mile when it comes to replicating outdoor conditions. One of the biggest criticisms of all when it comes to indoor growing is the way in which it is increasingly seen as an option wherein the priorities are nothing other than the fastest and most abundant results. By contrast, outdoor growing generally focuses on quality – irrespective of how much longer you may have to wait for it.
From a strictly business perspective, outdoor weed somewhat oversteps its indoor counterpart as it’s the kind of connoisseur’s product you can always get away with charging considerably more for. But at the same time, most casual smokers probably do not give a damn whether their weed was grown under the California sunshine or a lightbulb in Peckham…just as long as it’s cheap.
Which is something of a shame, given the fact that they really have no idea what they are missing out on!
