Jet Fuel OG is a strain combining Aspen OG, Sour Diesel and Original Diesel which has a complicated lineage containing some truly world class strains.

Even at first glance the look of this bud is majestic, the trichomes sparkle like millions of tiny interwoven diamonds and the colours are nothing short of breath-taking. A silver effect runs through the dark green canvas with small pockets of pistils (orange hairs) appearing all over the flower. The silver effect does not stop at the outside of the bud, inside it becomes even more prevalent, enveloping the green with a shimmer. Even the stalk has a silver look to it and honestly, I’ve seen less trichomes on most people’s flowers grown in the UK.

The pungent aroma this flower gives off will make any smoker turn around and take notice, with an initial fuel smell from its east coast sour diesel mother followed up by an after scent of the pine and sweet but infamous SFV OG. Connoisseurs and newbies alike will find the scent of this breath-taking and will no doubt continue to smell it repeatedly. Honestly when it first arrived I couldn’t take my nose out of the jar.

Rolling up and the smell of this blunt being lit has instantly filled the whole room with that same pine/diesel/sweet smell that the bud was emitting. The flavour did not disappoint either with an instant hit of pine and dry diesel to the back of the throat, upon the exhale the sweet flavour of the parented SFV OG shone through and left a delicious after taste in my mouth not too dissimilar to candy. In my mighty vaporizer the flavour shone through the same and was very pleasant, so much so that I loaded another straight after, for a strain to be this pungent and different in a vape is rare for me to find in the UK.

The effect of this strain is almost immediate and if you took any clue from the name it does exactly what it says on the tin. A huge cerebral high, that left me uplifted but unable to move, this stuff really does send you to the moon. After about half hour the effects become less narcotic and left me in a relaxed state of euphoria with huge appetite and relaxed and clear headed approach to enjoying the rest of my evening.

Verdict

This really is one of the best strains I’ve ever smoked, the flavour and scent are out of this world, the bud structure and overall look of the flower is phenomenal. The effects were ideal for chilling with your crew or being outside on a sunny day. I certainly wouldn’t recommend it to someone looking for something light but on the other hand this is just my opinion. Best thing you can do is try it for yourself!
